1) What is the need or issue your action team is tackling in your community?
Health care and non traditional day care

2) Who else or what existing projects are you partnering with?
Sweet Grass Health & Wellness Foundation and Big Timber Chamber of Commerce

3) How does this action tie into your Community Vision
Healthy community growth

4) What are your goals? (What do you want to accomplish in the next 2-3 years?)
Publish and distribute a community resource book (have it on disk so it can be undated annually.)
Start a non-traditional daycare that caters to the needs of parents who do shift work and care givers for elderly citizens.
Volunteer care group in place that will help senior citizens with small home repairs, transportation, etc.

5) What do you want to accomplish by June 30, 2008
Community resource book published and distributed

6) What are the initial action steps you have planned?
Gather information for the resource book.
Work with Chamber of Commerce to get information about resource out to the community, especially new residents.
Begin research into day care/elder care possibilities and funding sources.

7) What impact do you want to have and how will you measure that impact?
Make more citizens aware of what is available in Big Timber and assess what is lacking. Provide needed services.

8. How will what you are planning to do reduce community poverty and/or build community leadership?
By providing basic services like non-traditional day care/elder care we hope to help the community thrive.
